Yes! We live in DSM. Our older kids are all fully vaccinated and awaiting their turn for boosters. My newly 12-year-old gets their second dose next week and my twin 10-year-olds get their first dose on Monday. Vaccines all the way!
Thankfully there were no issues with getting appointments for our youngest kids. The biggest stumbling block we had was calling for an appointment for our 12-year-old. The person I talked to put me on hold to “check their notes” to see if the CDC allowed 12-year-olds to be vaccinated. Then they said they would call me back after checking with their supervisor to see if 12-years-old could be vaccinated. It was a weird conversation. This was the same place our teenagers were vaccinated, but it turned out this person was new. It did seem strange that someone working in a doctor’s office would not have educated themselves about Covid vaccine eligibility.
